That message appears when the app cannot reach Spotify’s API even if the rest of your internet works, which happens during Spotify backend incidents. If our check shows Spotify reachable, log out and back in — a stale auth token causes the same symptom.
Spotify plays downloaded music but nothing else — is it down?
