How this list is built
Every time someone uses SiteDownForMe to test a website, we record an anonymous check — just the hostname, the result, and the time. This page aggregates the last 24 hours of those checks and ranks sites by how many times people tested them. A sudden spike in checks for one site is one of the earliest public signals of an outage: people notice something is broken and start asking "is it down for everyone or just me?" well before official status pages catch up.
What "Problems reported" means
A site is flagged as "Problems reported" when more than half of the checks we ran against it in the last 24 hours failed — meaning our servers could not reach it either. "Looking up" means most checks succeeded, so heavy interest is more likely curiosity than a real outage. Neither label is a verdict: for a definitive answer, run a live check from the homepage or open the site's dedicated status page.
