Why won’t my Slack messages send?
Messages that hang with a retry icon usually indicate a Slack messaging-service incident, which Slack breaks out separately on its status page from calls and file uploads. Workspace-level problems affect all members at once — ask a colleague before debugging your own setup.
Slack huddles are broken but chat works — is Slack down?
Huddles use real-time media servers that are separate from text messaging, so audio can fail while chat is unaffected. That counts as a partial Slack outage on their side; switching to a call in another tool is usually faster than troubleshooting locally.
Is Slack down for everyone or just me?
