Why is Telegram connecting but not sending messages?
Telegram assigns your account to a regional data center, and incidents there affect you even when telegram.org itself loads fine. Regional Telegram outages typically resolve within the hour; a VPN through another region sometimes restores service sooner.
Is Telegram blocked on my network?
Some corporate networks and countries restrict Telegram’s servers. If our external check reaches Telegram but your app cannot connect on Wi-Fi — yet works on mobile data — the network you are on is filtering it rather than Telegram being down.
Is Telegram down for everyone or just me?
We test Telegram (https://telegram.org) live from our own servers. If our check succeeds but you still can't connect, the outage is probably local to you — try another network or device, clear your cache, or check Telegram's official status channels.
