Why can’t I sign in to my Xbox account?
Xbox sign-in rides on Microsoft’s account infrastructure, and during incidents consoles show error 0x87dd0006 or endless sign-in spinners. Microsoft’s Xbox status page breaks health out by feature — check "Account & profile" specifically rather than the overall banner.
Can I play games offline during an Xbox Live outage?
Digital games can require an online license check, so an Xbox Live outage sometimes blocks even single-player titles unless your console is set as your "home Xbox". Setting that designation in advance is the best protection against outage lockouts.
Is Xbox Live down for everyone or just me?
